Annealed Glass

Also known as a standard sheet of float glass. Annealing is actually a process of slowly cooling glass to relieve internal stresses after it is formed. Annealed glass is the most common glass used in homes. This type of glass lets in lots of light but can only be used in some areas. It tends to break easily and into small sharper pieces.

Toughened Safety Glass

Also knowns as tempered glass. Up to five times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness except it fractures into relatively small harmless particles when broken. This type has greater thermal strength. Its color and clarity do not change when undergoing a toughening process. Toughened glass is typically used in bathroom windows, shower screens, coffee tables, and glass sliding doors.

Laminated Glass

Consists of two or more sheets of glass bonded together by vacuum and heat with an interlayer of either PVB, EVA or XIR. Because of its layers, the result is strong, durable glass and much harder to break. This material that can provide solutions to many architectural applications such as schools and commercial buildings. It can also be used in residential applications in some doors, windows and shower screens.

Double Glazing

Commonly used in commercial and residential applications, double glazed windows and doors have many advantages for you and your home or office. Patterned Glass
